The third full length ANT album featuring ten songs that each mention a bird or birds in some way.  Featuring ANT on vocals, acoustic & electric guitars, drums. mandolin & harmonica, special guest appearances by all of Hefner: Darren Hayman, John Morrison (synth & radio noise on 06), Jack Hayter (pedal steel & violin on 09), & James Milne of Cornershop (bass guitar on 01 & 05) , Suzanne Rhatigan (vocals & Wurlitzer piano on 10) & Dave Watkins (banjo on 09).

Best album of 2012, the sweep of these songs is breathtaking, an album of such unabashed simplicity that its excellence and originality seem barely feasible, medium and message merge to produce a simplicity that is devastating - UNWASHED TERRITORIES.

Lovely British boy-with-a-guitar lullabies – SONGS ILLINOIS.NET.

Enduring songs for the hopelessly romantic and romantically hopeless - GOLDFLAKE PAINT.

A small stroke of lightning in the merciless hot summer - INDIE FOR BUNNIES.

Charming, intimate & sweetly melodic; a singer-songwriter of snowflake delicate indiepop; easy shuffly folky rhythms with the loveliest of melodies; contains some of his best work to date, this is where he takes flight - SOUNDSXP.
